A very warm traditional welcome awaits you at Moors Farm House Accommodation once the principal farm house of Powis Castle. Now privately owned but still Farming sheep, beef and Pheasant Shoot (see our other web site www.rhallt.co.uk). It has a wealth of character, including exposed beams and log-buring fires and has been carefully renovated to provide very good quality spacious accommodation. It is set between the Montgomery Canal and the River Severn. Offas Dyke and The Severn Way cross our land.
Its location is on the Main A483 trunk road Oswestry to Welshpool just over a mile into Welshpool along the Canal tow path. We are so very easy to find with easy access and lots of parking. Offering the benefits of a truly rural way of life, Shooting, Fishing and Walking is part of the Moors way of life along with traditional Farm House Hospitality where all the produce is sourced locally and where possible home grown. Our breakfast is served around a large family table where our guests meet and sit together.
The Moors is the perfect location for business or pleasure, the ideally located accommodation for easy access to any attraction.
The Moors Farm Specialise in group bookings from Sporting clients to company groups to family gatherings. For our group bookings we can offer a Unique Set Dinner, Lunch, Meeting Room, Teas & Coffees, an experience well worth giving a try. Just ask us and we will be only to delighted to host.
